X Patents
The links to the left are the X patents available at the US Patent site.
These are the patents that were restored after the fire in 1836.
The results of the clicks are shown here. The links are the patent number which brings up the
first page of the patent, a [D] link which checks for the patent in the
datamp.org database,
a [U] link which will bring up a page showing the patent classification and a [S] link will
bring up the patent specification page (generally the first non picture page showing among
other things, the patentees name, city and state). The [G] link will bring up the patent at
google where a tiff viewer is not needed.
AlternaTiff is a free tiff viewer for Windows and is available from
http://www.alternaTiff.com.
Clicks on the 'advance' link (top left corner) will display the first page of next patent in the sequence.
If you don't see a frame to the left please click
here. My main patent page is here.
If you are looking for more information on X patents, check out
this page or
Datamp.org. As you can see from the
list, the US Patent Office site does not have all of the X patents online.
